Comfort Level
The resort is located on a series of steep ridges forming part of the southern side of the Humber River valley on Mount Musgrave at Steady Brook, approximately 7 km (4 mi) east of Corner Brook. The peak is named in honor of Sir Anthony Musgrave, a colonial governor of Newfoundland.

Steady Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador is a beautiful region for downhill skiing and snowboarding, with white powdery snow, groomed runs and numerous trails for both beginners and experts. It is said to have some of the best skiing east of the Rockies and the steepest terrain in Atlantic Canada. There are three ski and snowboard resorts: Marble Mountain, White Hills and Powder Ridge and they are all very well maintained and have a great selection of chair lifts, runs and snowboard parks. The area is known for its beauty and its long winter season, usually providing lots of snow by the end of November. There are plenty of ski and snowboard rental places and lodges right in town so tourists don't have to worry about bringing their own gear.
Steady Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador is a village located in the eastern corner of the province. It is located along the banks of Steady Brook River, in the Humber Valley. The area is known for its natural beauty and outdoor activities, including hiking. There are many trails that can be hiked in Steady Brook and its surrounding areas, including the Arches Trail, the Steady Brook Falls Trail, the Finch Hike, the Masseys Brook Trail and many more. There are also plenty of lakes, rivers and ponds that offer great fishing!
