Mount Cheeseman is a club snowfield in New Zealand's South Island, near the town of Springfield, about an hour and a half from Christchurch. Situated in a south-east-facing basin, it features two T-bar lifts and one learner tow. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 6 km of slopes available. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1540 and 1860 m.

Mount Cheeseman, located in Canterbury, New Zealand is a great area for hiking and outdoor activities. The hike to the summit is roughly 4.5 km and can be completed in two to three hours. The route includes varied terrain, ranging from steep sections and loose shale tracks to a lovely beech forest and an alpine meadow. On a clear day, spectacular views of the Southern Alps can be seen from the summit of the mountain. Other activities in the area include mountain biking, horse riding, bird watching, and hunting.
