Moena is one of the best places to go hiking in the Dolomiti, thanks to its spectacular natural scenery. There are plenty of opportunities for trails and routes, ranging from easy day hikes to long-distance multi-day treks. Some of the popular trails include the loop through the Val Muòn, the path from Moena to the Sella Pass, as well as trekking routes up to the Malga Ciapela and the famous paths around the Marmolada, the highest peak of the Dolomites. Summer is usually the best time for hiking in Moena, when the most spectacular views can be seen. However, for the truly adventurous the winter hikes are spectacular and the trails are incredibly quiet.
