Hutt is one of the snowiest ski areas in the Southern Hemisphere, offering some of the best powder skiing in the world. The resort features 17 trails across 431 hectares of varied terrain, making it an ideal choice for both skiers and snowboarders of all levels and ages. Mt. Hutt also features a wide range of facilities and services, including the Twizel car park, base lodges, ski hire and lessons, a ski school, childcare facilities and restaurants.

You can find shorter, more accessible walks such as the Waterfall Track, or for more challenging treks you might try the challenging, partly alpine section of the South Face Ridge. There are a few huts along the routes, offering shelter and a place to rest and recharge, whilst taking in the amazing views.
