Alpe d'Huez is a high-altitude ski resort in the French Alps, famously known as the "Island of Sun" due to its exceptional sunshine record. It forms part of the vast Grand Domaine Ski area, offering over 250 kilometers of diverse pistes suitable for all levels, from gentle beginner slopes to challenging expert runs. Among its notable features is the Sarenne, one of the longest black runs in the world, providing a thrilling, continuous descent. Marked trails cater to various fitness levels, leading you through alpine meadows, past sparkling waterfalls, and offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
