Plesivec-Abertamy is the highest ski resort in the Karlovarsky region in the western Czech Republic. The mountain, which is about 1100m above sea level, offers some of the best views in the region of the surrounding towns and villages. There are 19 ski lifts, a modern snow park and 30 kilometres of slopes, as well as ski and snowboard schools, ranging from beginner to expert level. The resort also offers cross-country skiing, snow tubing and snowshoeing. In terms of accommodation, there are two hotels and numerous guesthouses and chalets that are easily reachable by ski lift.
