wambrella report
Although Zieleniec is actually located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship of Poland rather than Lesser Poland, it remains one of the country's premier ski destinations. The resort is famous for its unique alpine-like microclimate, which reliably guarantees excellent snow cover from late autumn until spring. Skiers of all levels can explore over twenty-two kilometers of diverse, interconnected slopes serviced by nearly thirty modern ski lifts and cable cars. Many of these runs are illuminated for night skiing, creating a magical atmosphere against the backdrop of the Orlické Mountains. It is particularly beloved by families and beginners due to its wide, gentle slopes and numerous ski schools.
Zieleniec, a district of Duszniki-Zdrój, offers fantastic opportunities for walking and hiking, especially during the warmer months. It is nestled in the Orlickie and Bystrzyckie Mountains, providing a network of well-marked trails suitable for various fitness levels. Walkers can enjoy picturesque mountain landscapes, lush forests, and the unique microclimate often compared to alpine conditions. Many trails lead to beautiful viewpoints, charming mountain shelters, or connect with neighboring spa towns. While renowned for winter sports, Zieleniec transforms into a hiker's paradise once the snow melts, inviting exploration.
