Volosyanka is a mountain village in the Krasnaya Polyana region of the North Caucasus in southern Russia. Volosyanka is a popular ski resort located in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine. The nearest village to the resort is Ust’ Sums’ka. The area has a good variety of slopes of all levels, from easy to black. It’s best to go there during peak season since the ski season at Volosyanka usually lasts from mid-December to mid-March. The base elevation is about 1400 meters (4,595 ft.) and the highest peak is at 1911 meters (6,272 ft.). There are 13 ski lifts, 9 of them being chair lifts, and several of them taking skiers to different parts of the mountain.
