Obertauern is one of Austria's snowiest ski resorts, situated high in the Radstadt Tauern mountains of Salzburg. Its unique bowl-shaped terrain allows skiers to complete the famous Tauernrunde circuit, navigating clockwise or counterclockwise around the entire village without removing their skis.
